Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce is the UK’s largest Chamber of Commerce with over 3,500 business members. We provide a vast range of services for our Members with most businesses joining for a combination of one of or more of the following key areas – making new connections, raising their business profile, business support services, international trade or our policy/campaign work.
We run over 150 events per year to provide a productive networking environment for businesses to connect to share best practice and develop business as well as collaborative working opportunities. Along with helping businesses to grow through networking, marketing and profile raising, we are also responsible are a customs agent supporting our Members with export documentation and customs declaration, as well as identification of new markets.
We pride ourselves on supporting businesses with every step of their international journey. We also use our position as the independent ‘voice of Greater Manchester business’ to lobby/campaign local and national government in the interest of our Membership. In terms of our current Membership, our largest sectors are Business and Financial services, Engineering & Manufacturing and Property & Construction – with our fastest growing sectors Media & Marketing, Technology and Hospitality.
